This definitely fits with the whole "recruiting thing", and would work well as another upgrade/option for players to consider. Rez already has elves and swamplings so it would be great to add these in game. +1

That's the wrong wiki... the situation is kinda weird right now, I don't know why we have so many different versions of the same wiki...

it happens with rocks and trees as well, but it seems to happen to mushrooms more. 

this is definitely an issue. It gets pretty boring once you've unlocked the steel shield and the gladiator helmet.
