at the cost of some wood cold and food you can came a small piece of land as a base, bases give small defense and offensive buffs, please build on this idea readers. :)
I didn't say that they would be large or need to be in feilds, they would basicly bee background bases the size of a single follower and you could only have 1 base at a time, building another one would delete your last base.

It would run out of room...there would be no feilds left to gather resources

Oh...well he is adding walls and stuff anyway, so thats kinda already planned.
