The thing about the formation would actually not help since they would target the sword and melee minions first anyway, but it would look cool so I'm in XD. 

Gather boxes, they give you one of each resource (excluding water) which can be helpful and 1xp (enough to level you up from level 1 to level 2).

I like the idea of getting it from:

• Destroying a building. 
• The waterfall, since it would make more conflict over the center meadow.
• The shop, since currently if you don't have a battle build, (like ones with max helmet and max shield) then you can only use gold for catapults and getting food. There should be more uses to it.

You can get xp from boxes btw.

It works just like killing barbarians and rabbits, just that rabbits only give food.
