There should be possible to trade food for wood, I know food can be easier to get but then it could maybe be two food for one wood?

If I go for the hunter build, it can be hard to get wood in addition to my food supply filling up at hyper-speed so there should be a way to make wood from food, even if it takes a lot of food.
